The American roulette wheel that has 38 numbered slots from 1 to 36 plus two zeros 0 (zero) and 00 (double zero) which increase the

The roulette ball is a small plastic ball that is spun in the opposite direction of the wheels spin and when it lands in a number pocket determines a players wins or losses.
This refers to the amount of money a player sets aside to gamble.
An action a player takes pursuant to the rules of the game in which he places money in the pot so as to maintain a chance of winning that pot.
A bet that the next winning number will be on the colour black. Pays
even money.
Refers to a wager that is made with a black $100 chip.

This is a bet on one of the three vertical columns of 12 numbers on the table
layout. You place your
chips on one of the three corresponding boxes at the bottom of the 12 vertical numbers you wish to
wager on, you collect if any one of those 12 numbers win, it pays 2:1.

bet on four numbers, also known as a
square bet or
quarter bet and pays 8:1 odds.

bet can only be made on the
American Wheel and is a wager that the numbers 0, 00, 1, 2 or 3 will come up next. The worst player odds in the game.
